Heck, people were really screwed up in the olden days. Eatliver.com has a collection of truly odd press and poster ads from a variety of countries. Some images are disturbing, but it's fascinating to see how attitudes that were once everyday now appear completely alien.
Never mind the demented old people, dying children and happy spankings, the one true horror must be the David Cassidy poster. Euurgh.
