Probably the worst ad blog in the world
The rather odd fellow in this new ad for Play Monday (a serious rival for the straight-as-a-banana National Lottery) makes me chortle, because clearly he occupies a headspace similar to my own.There are at least two others in the campaign, and jolly nice they are too, but I can't help but think that Mr Away With The Fairies reminds me of someone:Maybe this is deliberate, in which case agency M&C Saatchi deserve plaudits and golden peanuts for referencing the crazy fantasy world of Mike Myers in a clever dig at Play Monday's long-established rival, much criticised for the diversion of charity cash to exceedingly weird causes.Tags: TV ads
